Do over the counter herbal colon cleanse pills work and are they safe ?

I suffer from terrible bloating after I eat and gas. I feel like I have gained ten pounds. Gas pills do nothing. I am thinking of trying an over the countr herbal colon cleanse. Do they work? Can anyone recommend one? Are they safe? Do they have side effects?

Your body naturally removes all toxins, and those that it cannot remove are not stored in the colon so giving yourself horrible diarrhea for a few days will not help at all. The product is largely safe, except if you don’t keep drinking water you’ll become severely dehydrated.

Does colon cleanse pills flatten the stomach?

I heard one the personal trainers at my gym saying taking some colon cleanse pills would make your stomach go down. He was because you have all that fat and food sticking to your stomach that was never digested. Like all that red meat and stuff. then once clear all that out your stomach you will see improvement and you will be able to excersise your stomach and it will respond better. DOes anybody know anything about that? Do you think its true? DO u know?

I know that you will lose some weight by cleaning out your colon but your stomach will need much more work than this to tone it up. Your going to have to do crunches and cardio work to get a flat stomach. I do think the colon cleanse is a good thing though. Now if this is the pills that came with the acie berry crap it doesn’t work. You should go to GNC and get the real thing. I have a friend that had to have a certain type of surgery and had to do a colon cleansing and it worked very well for him.

The first answer is BULLCHIT…………the average adult male dies with 15 + pounds of meat in there intestines. So don’t listen to that bs…………………………for sure!!

i keep seeing those “diary websites” about loosing 20 lbs of fat in 3 weeks and offering free trials of these pills. but i just would like to know if these is a great way to detox your body and if their is any truth to the claims. and if so, which are the best pills to take?

Most of stuff like that doesn’t work and usually if it’s a free trial then it will bill you monthly afterwards. I would advise you to ask a doctor. Most people don’t want to but it’s probably the best information you can get but that’s your choice. Some supplements are good ways to clean and detox your body you just have to be careful about which ones you choose and take them as directed. I use a product called nature cleanse and it’s worked well for me I lost 12 pounds my first month and I feel a lot healthier and lighter. That may not sound like a lot but it’s not good for your body to loose weight too fast.
