Does anyone know what the advantages and disadvantages are for parasites living on human skin please?

Just to clarify…what are the advantages and disadvantages for the PARASITE not the human. Thanks.

The parasite would get needed nutrients from the human. They would have an easy blood supply source. It is also advantageous because the human body will serve as transportation allowing the parasites to spread over a large area.
The disadvantages could be that humans may easily discover the parasite and use force to remove and kill them. They may also face adverse conditions because the skin can become too dry. They may also be subjected to soap and other chemicals that humans use to clean themselves.

Is there a human parasite that makes a narrow, deep hole in skin. I’ve heard of Cuterebra, but websites state that they only attack small mammals. But, is there one that would prey on humans. If so, what is it and how can you acquire it?

Scabies i believe, you acquire them by being in dirty locations or on dirty furniture such as beds or couches, if you do happen to obtain them do not shower as this makes it easier for them to burrow into your skin.

Which god? I won’t speak for Yahweh, as IMHO, He *is* a Mistake. However, i can work with the goddess Gaia as a metaphor for Mother Earth, which in turn is a metaphor for the Earth and its biosphere.
Strictly speaking, Gaia does not make mistakes, because the very concept is alien to her. Nevertheless, she goes with what works, and unceremoniously discards what fails.
If we screw up too badly, Gaia will drop us like a hot rock and start over with the cockroaches. The mistake would be ours, not hers; Gaia can and will take care of herself. In 100,000 years, there would be little trace of our tenancy.
So, did Gaia make a mistake in creating us? The answer is up to us! I wrote above that “i can work with Gaia…” Actually, that’s what we all need to do.
