Your Questions About Human Worms

Steven asks…

human worms?

what do these worms look like…. are they white? and squirm.

Administrator answers:

(Lol) This question is what everyone thinks about but avoids talking about.

My Mother is a nurse, and we had a conversation about this a couple of weeks back. Her response was that supposedly 80% of humans have worms (Think about it, we worm our pets; dogs, cats, horses, etc; every couple of months, humans are mammals and subject to the same ailments) however, she’s a nurse, and the kind of nursing she practices, in a hospital, requires her to witness BM’s and clean intestines (upper). So far: she’s never seen any worms (and this puzzles her).

If you’re that scared about the entire thing I do know that there are medicines and prescriptions out there, but a close friend’s mom said she had taken an herbal supplement for this specific reason and ended up with scars all over her back due to the “worms” trying to get out of her system.

When I was in the third grade my best friend was on medication for worms. I don’t remember much, but we were not allowed to touch her….

Some people believe that the more unheatlhy you are, the bigger the worms are. I know this probably didn’t answer your question (at least not scientifically) but at least I’ve relayed my experiences with human worms

Donald asks…

Human worms??

What kind of worm could this be………brown, smal stringy like. Not sure if it was a worm but know its a possibility.
Was in the feces……..too small to be an earth worm.

Administrator answers:

Pin worm or round worm, tape worm is flatter than that. Go to your local drug store, they sell worm medication for adults and children over the counter. When I was a child, we were wormed on a regular basis, since we played in our open sand box quite a lot. Can’t say whether I ever had a worm, but mum sure made certain we never did! The worm meds are harmful to the worm, but not to you if used properly. Good luck, it happens.

Sharon asks…

Can a human get worms from a cats fleas?

I know cats can get them if they eat their fleas, but what about if a human accidentally eats a cat flea or a flea egg, can we get worms from it?

Administrator answers:

Worms are a parasite.. Not from fleas. And yes, humans can get them. You’re more likely to get them from messing with the cat poop. They tell pregnant women to not change litter for that reason. Be sure to wash your hads with soap and hot water everytime to change litter.

Ruth asks…

when a human poops worms do they move or what?

my cousin went to the bathroom and when she wiped she said there was a looong yellowish tan thing on the toilet paper it wasnt moving but when i put human worms on google images she screamed “aaahhh thats it!!!” =/ so now she wants to know if when they come out do they move or what like ugh were both grossed out lol… helppp and she dont have insurance to go to the doctors.

Administrator answers:

Sometimes they move and sometimes they don’t.

You may be able to check at your local drugstore to see if they have any over-the-counter worm medications. It’s generally just a matter of taking a few pills and they will clear right out of the gut.

Good luck with that…

David asks…

What can kill human worms and scabies both at once?

Ive been infected for a while [Squatter Punk] and havent gotten around to dealing with it… any info on what product will do both at once?

Administrator answers:

None that I know of. Worms and mites are 2 radically different phyla of animals and they require different drugs.
